Defined Contribution

The Multi-employer Defined Contribution Plan is an individual account plan. Each covered employee accrues an account based on the amount of Employer contributions made on his behalf.

All Employees who work in a position for which contributions are required to be made to this Plan are Participants in the Plan, and all accounts are 100% vested. Nonetheless, it is possible that your pension benefits may decrease because the value of your Individual Account depends upon the yields of the investments that you select.

A 401(k) plan is a qualified deferred compensation plan which enables you to save money, lower taxes, and invest in your financial future. Under a 401(k) plan, your elective contributions are made on a before-tax basis; that is, the amount deferred will be excluded from your taxable income. This may currently lower your taxes.
